Ezzie Spencer is one of those does-it-all (and nails-it-all) renaissance women. Now focused squarely on the expansion of human consciousness, she started her career as a human rights attorney specializing in women’s safety. In 2011, while working toward her Ph.D in therapeutic jurisprudence, she experienced what she calls a “spontaneous spiritual awakening” where she realized she was most drawn to the healing part of her business pursuits.
After that pivotal moment, her coaching business sprouted very organically. She began booking 1:1 healing sessions with others, conducted in her living room in Bondi Beach, Australia. By the time she finished her Ph.D program in 2013, Spencer had a bonafide coaching business that led to an international best-selling book series, Lunar Abundance, (and a move to New York City).

Now, Spencer focuses her time on supporting high-achieving entrepreneurs and executives making six to eight figures with a modality she’s developed over the years. The one-of-a-kind program is specifically designed to help people remove their “money splinters” and achieve richer life fulfillment. KNESKO was able to take some time with Spencer for a Q&A session about her approach to wellness, business, and intentional moments through skincare.
What's your best piece of career advice?
Once you have achieved a certain level of success, energy is likely the missing link between here and your next level. I work with women who are brilliant, hard-working, and seasoned in business, but who are still getting in their own way when it comes to easeful growth; they block their own flow. This is easy to address. When you do so, you will stop being a woman who chases money, and instead become a woman who receives with true feminine flow.
“KNESKO is an opulent pleasure: I love ritual and intention, so to bring this together with products of luxurious quality makes me so happy.” — Ezzie Spencer, PhD
How did you discover KNESKO, and what is your favorite product from the brand?
I was lucky enough to be gifted a KNESKO Diamond Radiance face mask at an event I facilitated in Los Angeles. I decided to save the mask for a special occasion, and pulled it out to use sometime later. Within moments of applying the gorgeous mask at that later date, I received an alert on my phone. Out of nowhere, Mrs Knesko had just started following me on Instagram! That is one magical face mask. I was hooked on these stunning products from that day on.
What is your approach to skincare and how has it evolved over the years?
My approach to skincare is much like my approach to life—minimalist, using only the highest quality products.
What's the most rewarding aspect of your career?
I love seeing tangible results in the lives of my clients. Not only do they tend to increase their financial ceilings, which is a fun metric, but they enjoy a better quality of life experience while doing so. I get such a kick when I show people what is possible for them after they unlock their full potential.

What was a hurdle you had to overcome in your career journey? How did you move past it?
My greatest hurdle was to get over being seen as weird. When I had a spiritual awakening, I went from ‘living from the neck up’ in a very analytical and conservative profession to embracing my feminine magic where I naturally perceive more than meets the eye.
Being able to see energy and remove money splinters might sound like a superpower today, but for years I struggled because I wanted to belong in my old life, and so I hid my gifts. My daily practice is to relax into self-compassion and self-forgiveness, and focus on helping others.

How do you find balance in your life?
As someone who is so passionate about my calling, I need to make a conscious effort to care for the other areas of life. I work with the ‘flower’ of life, meaning that I consciously work with seven ‘petals’ or areas of life (for me, the ‘petals’ are my family, career, money, body, mind, soul and my social life). Then, I have a calendar alert set each Friday afternoon that reminds me to stand in the pistil in the flower—or the center of my life—and assess where I put my time and effort that week, and what adjustments I will make for the week ahead.
From that centrepoint, I identify which of the petals might need watering and create simple action steps to do so. For example, if I assess that I focused too much on career during that week, I make an actionable plan to shift focus to my body the following week—to block off time on my calendar the following Tuesday to go for a walk with my partner, perhaps. This is a very simple, effective approach to find balance.
What is your go-to affirmation or positive visualization in your life?
Gratitude.
